4-Corners Vocabulary

For this activity, we will be creating a chart using one of the Ancient Rome vocabulary words.  On this chart, you will:

1)  Draw a picture of the vocabulary word.
2)  Define the word
3)  Use the word in a sentence
4)  Write the vocabulary word.

Here is an example:

Directions

1) You will randomly be assigned a partner.

2)  The number next to your group name will represent the vocabulary word you are responsible for.  For example, if the number 6 is next to your group name, then your group will be defining "patrician".

3)  On a piece of paper, fold the paper into fourths.  Draw the picture on the top left, the definition on the bottom left, the sentence on the top right, and the vocabulary word on the bottom right.

4)  You may use your computer or vocabulary pretest to look up the definitions.
